A pharmacist at a Vancouver, British Columbia, public health facility has been cleared of a strain of drug-related charges related to its prescription products.
At the Vancouver Health Alliance's annual meeting, pharmacists will be cleared of a charge of sexual performance enhancement drugs related to Viagra, Cialis and Levitra, the Vancouver Post reports.
The allegations allege a pharmacist at the public health facility at Burnaby, Richmond, received a report that he had been involved in drug-related sexual performance enhancement for a year.
"The sexual performance enhancement drugs included in the investigation are prescription drugs," said the Vancouver Post.
In 2013, an FDA review of Viagra and Cialis, as well as their combination drugs, found they are not safe to use, even at high doses.
"The drugs are not approved for use in the United States and Canada," the Post reported.
The prescription drugs included in the investigation are Cialis, Vardenafil, Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Vardenafil and Avanafil.
"The sexual performance enhancement drugs listed above are not approved for use in the United States and Canada," a Vancouver Public Health Health spokesperson told the Post.
"The sexual performance enhancement drugs listed above are not approved for use in the United States and Canada."
